Last week, a Joint Working Group meeting was held between Sweden and India with a focus on deepening collaboration in the defense industry.
The meeting gathered representatives from the Ministry of Defense, the Swedish Defense Material Administration (FMV), as well as their Indian counterparts – together with representatives from the Industry sector.
The initiative was organized in collaboration with SOFF (Sweden’s Security and Defense Industry) and SIDM (Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers, India), who work to create strong bridges between the nations’ defense industries.
The purpose is clear: to identify and develop new, long-term, and sustainable collaborations between Swedish and Indian companies in the defense sector – in both technology and innovation, partnerships, and supply chains.
An important step for increased cooperation and technological exchange.
