Yes, technical training is an integral part of our railway technolog services. In order to avoid point malfunctions at a later date, it is advisable to train employees in both the correct installation and the function of the locks and the hollow sleepers. This is an important precaution against installation errors and unnecessary maintenance work. We provide notification of which tools, machines and equipment are required for installing the locking systems in advance, but they must be provided by the customer. If you have any questions regarding our training programme, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The content of our training programme is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. Both units cover a period of approx. 2-3 hours. In the theoretical part, we provide in-depth knowledge of point systems, their functions, and related maintenance procedures – essential for safe operation across the rail network.
In the practical part we teach you step-by-step how to correctly assemble and accurately adjust the locking system, as well as the necessary measuring equipment and the tools to be used. Upon request, participants receive a certificate confirming they are qualified to professionally install CDP point locks – enhancing both safety and system reliability across the rail network.
Our components are engineered for superior performance and minimal maintenance, making them a preferred choice in the rail industry. The amount of maintenance is considerably less in comparison to other point components. This not only reduces the maintenance costs enormously, but also reduces rail traffic blocking time, which that is particularly important to the infrastructure operators.
The size of the point components depends on the respective requirements and the regional rail transport conditions. The specifications and size can therefore vary depending on the country, the railway company, the type of transport (high-speed trains, freight transport or light rail) and other factors.
