Reporting of near misses

Your attention helps to prevent accidents

Occupational safety is a top priority for us – for our employees as well as for external partners, visitors and service providers. In order to identify potential hazards at an early stage and prevent future accidents, we would like to actively involve you:
Use this contact form to report near misses or safety-critical observations quickly and easily – regardless of whether you are employed by us or have entered our premises as an external party.
A near miss is an incident in which an accident almost happened but no one was injured. Such information is extremely valuable to us, as it helps us to identify risks at an early stage and take appropriate measures.

Important:

Your report can be made anonymously. It goes without saying that we treat all information confidentially. Nobody who reports a near miss has to fear negative consequences – on the contrary: you are actively contributing to everyone’s safety.

Upon receipt of the report, the case is documented by our HR department and forwarded to the relevant departments for processing.

Thank you for your support in creating a safe workplace for everyone!

What is a near miss?

A near miss is an incident in which an accident almost happened – but no one was injured and no damage was caused. Such situations are important warning signals and help us to avoid real accidents.

Examples:

  • A forklift truck drives around a corner too fast – almost collides with a colleague
  • A slippery spot on the floor – someone stumbles but catches themselves
  • A cable hanging down – someone almost gets caught
  • A part falls out of a machine – narrowly misses an employee
